Involve My School
Without regular screening evaluations, children's vision problems often go unrecognized by parents, teachers, physicians and children themselves. To protect children and families from the potentially devastating effects of undetected vision disorders, VisionQuest 20/20 has created a viable, cost-effective solution to deliver vision screenings to every American schoolchild. Learn more of what you can do to get your school involved in establishing a state-of-the-art vision screening program.
For Parents
Parents are VisionQuest 20/20's strongest advocates. Through outreach and support, parents have the greatest ability to influence our schools to vision screen every child, every year. While most schools have limited resources (financial and otherwise), VisionQuest 20/20 has developed a cost effective program that:
- Protects your children's vision
- Can be used by your child's school as a fundraising activity
- Uses computers already available to the school
- Requires minimal training to proctor
- And, finally, is fun for children and testing administrators alike!
Encourage your schools, nurses, PTA and administrators today to provide reliable vision screenings for your child by using our innovative, scientifically validated approach.
For Schools
As the only non-profit organization of its kind, VisionQuest 20/20 is working to ensure that all school-aged children receive accurate vision screenings. Currently, up to 1 in 4 elementary school children in the U.S. has a vision problem. More astounding is the fact that 4 in 5 children do not receive an annual vision screening. The powerful influence and collaborative support from both parents and schools will ultimately enable VisionQuest 20/20 to eradicate the significant public health issue at stake.
